The lesion is not or insufficiently reacting on the ongoing treatment.

The following situations are possible:

• Type I is not reacting on deep transverse frictions.

• Type II is not reacting on Mill's manipulation.

• Type II is not reacting on infiltrations with triamcinolone.

• Type III is not reacting on deep transverse frictions.

• Type IV is not reacting on infiltrations with procaine
