Type II is not reacting on infiltrations with triamcinolone.
It is very rare for a type II tenniselbow not to respond to infiltrations with triamcinolone.
With a good infiltration technique, full relief is obtained in all cases after one to three infiltrations
However, after the initial relief, up to 30% will recur (usually after two to three months).
If there is absolutely no initial relief at all, the following possibilities should be considered:
