Clinical presentation
There is a full range of passive movement, sometimes in combination with some pain at the end of the passive lateral rotation.
Resisted medial rotation is painful but strong.
The lesion is always on the tenoperiosteal junction on the lesser tuberosity. The folowing options are possible:
