Range of Movement ( Amplitude -ROM)
- Due to important individual differences, the range of movement should always be compared to the unaffected side
- The amplitude ( point at which the movement comes to a stop) is not determined by the pain but by the resistance of the tissues that are brought under tension.
- One should therefore try to continue the passive movement until the very end of the possible movement - this means until the endfeel is reached.
