The Shoulder

Execution:

• Supine lying position
• The examiner stands at the contralateral side of the body and immobilizes the lateral border of the scapula.
• Wit his other hand, the examiner takes the patient's arm just above the elbow and lifts it up until the endfeel is reached.
• The angle between arm and scapula can easily be measured and compared to the lateral side.
• This is also a good test to compare the endfeel at both sides.
