Acromio - Clavicular joint
- The direction of the joint line is antero-posterior and slightly lateral.
- The anterior part of the joint is usually gapping, making the anterior edges of acromion and clavicula relatively easy to palpate.
- The posterior part of the joint continues in the lateral corner of the supraspinous fossa.
- The direction of the joint cavity is from cranio-lateral to caudo-medial.
