Traumatic Arthritis

Treatment:

The treatment of choice is I. A. injections or capsular stretching, depending on the degree of inflammation or 'stage'. Sometimes distractions of the capsule is preferred.

In stage I: Capsular stretching
In stage II: Capsular stretching or I. A. injections, the preference will be for the steroid injections if there is:
- nocturnal pain
- spastic endfeel
In stage III: I. A. injections or (capsular distractions)
