Recurrence after initial cure with infiltrations.

What procedure should be followed in recurrences after infiltrations?

A new treatment with infiltrations can be started if :

the interval between the recurrences is not too short ( at last a few months interval)
the recurrences are not too frequent (maximum two or three relapses)

An alternative treatment with deep transverse frictions and Mills' manipulation can substitute the infiltrations.

A tenotomy must be considered, if the recurrence rate is too high and/or no further improvement is reached with Mill's manipulations.
