A common site of compression of the ulnar nerve is at the volar and ulnar side of the carpus the tunnel of Guyon.
This osteofibrous tunnel lies between two osseous structures, the pisiform and hamate bones, and is covered by the pisohamate ligament which is a continuation of the flexor carpi ulnaris .
