Mills' Manipulation
Objective:
Try to pull apart the two surfaces of the painful scar, by maximally and brutally
stretching the extensor carpi radialis brevis tendon.
This elongation is achieved by a maximal extension of the elbow during a simultaneous
palmar flexion and pronation of the wrist.
Technique
Follow up:
The manipulation is carried out once at each attendance.
The procedure is painless.
There is also seldom after pain.
The treatment is given three times a week, each manipulation being preceded
by a deep transverse friction.
Result may be expected after 10 to 15 sessions.
