Prevalence

A tendonitis of the extensor carpi radialis brevis, level with the
radiohumeral joint line and/or the radial head is very uncommon.

Should be carried out with extreme care; and always compared to the
other side because this part of the tendon is always tender to the touch .

Treatment

Experience shows that infiltrations are useless.
Deep transverse frictions on the other hand usually give good and lasting result.
