Occurence
Lesions of the brachioradialis muscle are very uncommon.
Pain at the volar aspect of the elbow during resisted flexion is
usually the result of a lesion of the biceps or (rarely) the brachialis.
An accessory test may prove necessary to differentiate between the two.
Localisations
Delayed muscle soreness sometimes appears 12-24 hours after intense exercise. It disappears spontaneously after a couple of days.
A teno-periosteal tendinitis at the level of the lateral margin of the humerus responds very well to an infiltration with triamcinolone.
