Primary Tumours and Metastases

A capsular pattern in a younger patient developing over
a few weeks is an onimous sign for a primary tumour of the humerus.

A rapidly increasing capsular patern with local warmth and swelling in
a patient with deteriorating general health is strongly suggestive of a metastasis.
